The Global Network on Extremism and Technology (GNET), a project of the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation (ICSR), is delighted to announce that our fourth annual conference will take place on 29th-30th May 2024 at King’s College London.
Participants will have the option to join in person or virtually via Zoom.
The GNET Conference aims to explore the complex and evolving relationship between terrorism, violent extremism and technology. Over one and a half days, we will host five panels featuring international experts from a range of industries and disciplines.
Speakers and attendees will have the opportunity to exchange knowledge and insights on pressing issues at this critical intersection, including:
  • Global Trends, New Frontiers: Updates on the Non-State Online Threat Landscape
  • AI and Violent Extremism: Threats, Opportunities and Ethical Approaches
  • The Innovation Paradox: Emerging Technologies in the Evolving Terrorist Ecosystem
  • Preserving Electoral Integrity in the Digital Age: Mitigating Extremist Interference in Democratic Processes
  • Digital Playgrounds: Addressing Youth Radicalisation in Gaming Communities
Approved in-person attendees will receive an email with event location details; approved virtual attendees will receive a dial-in link to be used across both days.
